Privacy Policy

Lawn RX MN ("we," "us") operates lawnrxmn.com and the Lawn RX MN app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions any time: rxhelp@lawnrxmn.com.
What we collect
- Account information — name, email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider; we never see it), and optionally your phone number and property address.
- Lawn details — information you choose to save, such as soil type, grass type, and lawn size.
- Photos — yard photos you upload with an order or to your account. They're stored privately and are visible only to you and to us for the purpose of preparing your diagnosis.
- Order information — what you purchased and the details you submit on our order form. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Local preferences — the watering tracker saves your chosen location and soil type in your own browser (localStorage), not on our servers.
How we use it
- To prepare and deliver your lawn diagnosis, workup, and recommendations.
- To process orders and send you transactional email (order confirmations, account emails, your reports).
- To respond when you contact us.
- To show localized weather and watering information you request.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't send marketing email you haven't asked for.
Services we rely on
We use a small number of processors to run the site, each receiving only what's needed for their job:
- Netlify — website hosting and order form submissions.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Supabase — accounts, saved lawn profiles, and private photo/report storage.
- Brevo — sending account and transactional emails.
- Open-Meteo, Zippopotam, and OpenStreetMap Nominatim — weather data and location lookup for the watering tracker. Only the location text or coordinates you enter are sent; no account information.
- Google Fonts — typefaces for the site.
Cookies and local storage
We don't run advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores a session token when you sign in (so you stay signed in) and your tracker preferences (location, soil type). Clearing your browser data removes these.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account information, photos, and reports for as long as you have an account so your history stays available to you. To delete your account and everything attached to it, email rxhelp@lawnrxmn.com from your account email and we'll remove it.
Children
Our services aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we materially change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
